David Fergusson

Mr. Fergusson leads The M&A Advisor’s global operations, from their offices in New York and London, managing the publishing, media, event and connection services for the firm’s network of over 350,000 finance industry professionals around the world. ¬†As the host of The M&A Advisor’s exclusive “thought leadership” summits and publisher of the “market intelligence” reporting, Mr. Fergusson engages regularly with leading stalwarts in the finance industry, media, and government. He is a respected speaker on the subjects of financial services and leadership at prominent educational institutions and leadership assemblies, a frequent contributor to major media organizations in the U.S. and abroad, and the editor of The Best Practices of The Best Dealmakers series distributed in over 25 countries. In these endeavors, he is a notable advocate for the positive advancement of the financial services industry. Recognized as a leading innovator early in his career in the sporting goods and leisure products sector, Mr. Fergusson has developed, acquired and managed over 40 product and service brands and companies across the North American and International markets. Prior to joining The M&A Advisor in 2010, he was a founding partner of Paradigm Partners, a middle market venture capital management firm. The partnership conducted over 25 acquisitions during Mr. Fergusson’s 15 year term and was credited with executing some of the country’s top consolidations in transportation and recreational services. Recipient of the 2015 Albert Schweitzer Leadership Award for his work in youth leadership development, Mr. Fergusson is also an advisor to ACG Cares; an advisor to the SEA Foundation in Togo, Africa; a member and Audit Committee Chairman of the Board of Trustees for the Hugh O’Brien Youth Leadership Foundation; a Founding Member of the City of London’s Guild of Entrepreneurs; an advisor to the civic engagement organization, Wikiburg; and a member of British American Business.
