Frederick H. Joseph began his career in 1963 at E.F. Hutton in corporate finance. He joined Shearson Hamill’s Corporate Finance Department in 1970, and was later promoted to Chief Operating Officer. He joined Drexel Burnham in 1974 to co-manage the firm's Corporate Finance Department, and became Chief Executive Officer in May 1985. From January 1994 until May 1998 he was Chairman of Clovebrook Capital, an investment banking boutique. From May 1998 until April 2001, Mr. Joseph was a Senior Advisor and Managing Director of ING Barings LLC. During 2001, he and a group of partners acquired a predecessor to Morgan Joseph & Co. and along with 160 new partners and employees have repositioned the firm to provide a full range of investment banking services to mid-size companies.
Mr. Joseph is a member of the Board of Directors of several companies, a Trustee of WNET/Channel Thirteen, a Director of the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation and Vice Chairman of Partners of ‘63. He received an A.B. from Harvard College, an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and served as a naval line officer after college. |
